Compassion Beyond Breeds: Partnering with RaggiePaws for The Cat Show Live 2026
- By Wellsphinx
1. A Surprise Outreach with a Shared Mission
As part of our commitment to feline welfare, Wellsphinx recently launched a cat rescue charity sponsorship with RaggiePaws Ragdoll Rescue. A few weeks ago, we received a heartfelt email from Claudia, Chair & Trustee at RaggiePaws Ragdoll Rescue & Rehome (Registered Charity No. 1211132). They were preparing for their upcoming stand and charity raffle at The Cat Show Live (September 12th, 2026, at NEC Birmingham) to raise vital funds for rescued and rehabilitated Ragdoll cats in need of second chances.
Although Wellsphinx was born out of a dedicated passion for Sphynx cat skin care, our underlying philosophy has always been simple: compassion knows no breed. When a dedicated local charity reaches out to protect and care for vulnerable felines, we jump at the opportunity to stand behind them.
2. Crafting Tailored Care for Long-Haired Companions
Initially, we considered donating our signature Sphynx clothing collection. However, knowing that fitting long-haired Ragdolls can be tricky and wanting every raffle winner to receive something truly functional and practical, we refined our gift packages into three curated raffle sets:
Set 1: Tumbler Cat Toy + Championship Grooming De-Greaser Paste
Set 2: Hand-Knitted Cat Scarf + Championship Grooming De-Greaser Paste
Set 3: Adjustable Genuine Leather & Fabric Harness/Leash Set + Championship Grooming De-Greaser Paste
Why the De-Greaser Paste for Ragdolls?
While originally formulated to control intense oil production in hairless cats, our Championship Grooming De-Greaser Paste uses an ultra-gentle, amino-acid-based formula. It serves as a hidden gem for long-haired breeds like Ragdolls—effectively breaking down stubborn grease, targeting “stud tail” and “black chin” issues, while leaving coats deeply cleansed, soft, and fluffy.
3. Unboxing & Excitement from RaggiePaws
Shortly after dispatching the parcel to Cheshire, UK, the team at RaggiePaws received the shipment and shared a wonderful post on Instagram:

Hearing their enthusiasm for our products—especially the hand-selected harness set and de-greaser paste—warmed our hearts.
4. Looking Ahead: Supporting Feline Welfare Together
Every cat—whether wrapped in a plush coat or beautifully hairless—deserves warmth, health, and a loving home.
